I mentioned this over at my twitter account last night, but since there is a gajillion folks over here I thought I’d share as well:

You need to check on this movie called ‘Take This Waltz’. It’s directed by a woman (shocker, right?). But really, Sarah Polley is the director, and she’s so fabulous. The cinematography is amazing. The protagonist is a woman (Michelle Williams), and get this, there is no male gaze. We see the film through her perspective, her eyes, and that feeling, the sheer rarity of it is remarkable and inspiring.

There is one scene in particular, a shower scene, with a bunch of women ; it blew my mind. You just have to check it out.

Bonus Factor: Sarah Silverman is in the film.

Confusion Factor: Seth Rogen is in it as well.

I would say Seth Rogen is the bonus and Silverman is meh at best, but I should watch this.
